Boy Scout Troop 129

Eagle Scout candidate Thomas Cybart (back, center) organized, led and helped to complete his Eagle Scout Project during the weekend of   June 13-14, 2015.  He was assisted by other Boy Scouts from Troop 129. The Falconer American Legion Henry Mosher Post 638 sponsors this troop and the Scouts meet at the Falconer Rod & Gun Club on Monday evenings.  A total of 10 Scouts participated in this project.  The project scope included replacing the targets for the pistol and rifle ranges and making sure they were up to standard. They resurfaced seven shooting tables and finished them by applying polyurethane to the wood surfaces and painting the steel bases. The range houses were prepared and painted inside and out. Two skeet field sheds were also prepared and painted. Maintenance was performed on the skeet field fence line. The range houses, range lanes, sheds and skeet fields had all debris removed and discarded. These Scouts worked in excess of 110 man-hours to complete this project. - Post Journal June 28, 2015
